Bourne Leisure is one of the largest providers of holidays and holiday home ownership in the UK. Their brands include Haven, Butlins and Warner Leisure Hotels and are amongst the most recognised within the UK holiday market.
We have worked with Bourne Leisure since 2012, providing a comprehensive fire life safety solution, protecting their unique estate, nationwide.
SUMMARY OF SERVICES: Planned and reactive maintenance and installation
SOLUTIONS: Fire detection, fire extinguishers and kitchen suppression systems
CONTRACT START: May 2016
GEOGRAPHY: Mainland UK
Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance
Due to the nature of the sites and their 24/7 public operations, we work closely with their Facilities Team to deliver a compliant and timely planned preventative and reactive maintenance service providing minimal disruption to staff and visitors as they carry out their day. This is carefully planned on a monthly basis to mitigate any downtime, carrying out planned maintenance visits around the opening and closing times of each building and its unique functionality.
All sleeping accommodation is serviced on a recurring schedule, carried across multiple service visits across individual floors/blocks, based on demand and availability. These are carefully scheduled by the Booking Teams, to allow access to particular areas of the accommodation blocks at the same time. Through our CASH4Windows operating system, all areas tested are fully tracked and logged to maintain 100% compliance across the estate at all times.
Contract Management
Bourne Leisure is afforded with a dedicated Account Management Team, to provide day-to-day support across the delivery of the Contract, with direct lines of escalation to the Senior Management Team.
A regular team of Service Engineers are allocated to the portfolio of sites, to provide a sense of familiarity with both the systems installed and the people who work there, ultimately generating service efficiencies across their planned and reactive maintenance services.
In addition, due to the ageing systems installed throughout the estate, a number of key projects have been undertaken, installing and upgrading the existing fire life safety systems to provide further assurance that both people and property are safeguarded at all times.
Installation
Fire alarm installations are carried out across the Bourne Leisure Estate on a regular basis. Contributing to their CAPEX budget plan, sites which are in need of an upgrade are identified and highlighted to Bourne Leisure. Once approved, the same specifications are followed by installing open protocol systems to an L1 category.
We believe this current contract provides testament to our capability of working in the housing & leisure markets, through the similar requirements that it demands from the perspective of working within occupied premises.
Due to the unique requirements of individual building types within each complex, organising access and planning maintenance visits is extremely tasking but well-organised through experience generated over the term of the relationship with Bourne Leisure.
