Ministry of Justice In 2007, Marlowe Fire & Security were awarded the planned preventative and corrective maintenance contract of fire alarm system for two Regions of the National Probation Service estate managed by Interserve FM.

In 2011, following continued contract performance and a successful, competitive tendering exercise, we expanded the contract to provide planned preventative and corrective maintenance and installation services of all fire life safety and security systems across the 3 Regions of the national Ministry of Justice and Home Office estate.

Success in the delivery of the Home Office contract has led to a partnership with Interserve which has resulted in the award of several other prestigious Government contracts including DEFRA and the Environment Agency.

In 2013 / 14, we identified an innovative cost and security benefit available to the Home Office and proposed they standardise their intruder alarm, monitoring device towards a dual path, future proof solution. Demonstrating the year 1 cost efficiencies the upgrade program offered, we successfully undertook the upgrade across c. 400 sites within a 4 month period.

In 2016, based upon our strong reputation on the Midlands and North of England, we were awarded the additional 3 regions covering the south of England through Carillion and all national high security sites through Bouygues UK.

In 2017 we expanded the contract further still to include Schools across the UK.

We operate staged response times ranging from 2 – 24 hours based on the severity of the fault found on any given system and the interruption and inconvenience it causes to ensure the business operations of this essential Government Department are never interrupted.

We believe this current contract provides testament to our capability to support Facilities Management Customers and their diverse clientele. This contract requires us supporting across a highly reactive, extensive and diverse portfolio of sites, nationally. We are relied upon as a trusted fire safety advisor, ensuring that we support in their continuous development and understanding of the industry standards and best practice.
