Each of the large warehouses and office blocks has varied and unique installed systems that require a wide knowledge of systems to be able to service efficiently.

Fire Extinguishers

Due to the size and scale of the sites there are a large quantity of fire extinguishers situated to frequent points throughout. On each annual visit the attending mechanical service engineers service each and every unit, condemn any units that do not befit the requirements and ensure that the necessary re-fills and replacements are carried out.

To mitigate repeat return visits, our mechanical service engineers ensure that prior to their planned maintenance visit that sufficient materials are stocked within their van stock.

In addition to the portable extinguisher within the warehouses and office blocks, we are also responsible for the servicing of all fire extinguishers equipped to each vehicle within their fleet.

To manage this, a rolling stock of portable extinguishers are serviced at each of the Depots within a store room. This allows, on a programmed basis, the vehicles extinguishers that are due to expire can be swapped and replaced on their next visit to their local distribution centre. The expired extinguishers are then serviced at the next planned maintenance visit and ready to be swapped again.

CCTV Systems

Each depot has a wide network of internal and external CCTV cameras to protect its stock 24/7 365 days a year. It is of fundamental importance to the organisation that the system remains operational at all times.

To support this requirement, the systems are maintained regularly each year to ensure that the conditions of the systems are reported back to their Security team and necessary equipment is replaced to mitigate any faults from occurring. In addition to this, we provide a 24/7 365 day emergency reactive support to attend site and fix any faults as soon as possible, to minimise any downtime from occurring.
