Job Title: Fire Extinguisher Engineer
Position Reports to: Lead Engineer
Based: Guildford

Job Purpose Summary

A self managing Fire Extinguisher Engineer role to cover the designated areas within the designated region. To work as a team with colleagues, Team Leaders and Senior Managers to enhance the Company’s reputation with regards to quality and Customer service.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

The key responsibility of this role is to install service and maintain Fire Extinguishers for National, Key and Local accounts.

Working in line with current standards and customer requirements. They will plan and complete call visits within the nominated area, ensuring maximum efficiency and best use of resources.

The successful candidate will be expected to build professional and effective relationships with a wide client base.

Area Planning of nominated are critical – to maximise travel time and time on customer premises.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled & reactive maintenance in a timely, efficient & cost effective manner.

Effectively communicate with our customers’ to ensure a good understanding of system/equipment status.

Liaise & co-operate with service administrators to ensure the needs of our customers’ are met.

Be responsible for the management & security of vehicle stock, tools & equipment.

Operate within the requirements of company Quality Assurance & Health & Safety policies.

Approach all training positively & complete all duties in a workman like manner.

Be adaptable to changing circumstances & contribute feedback & ideas to help the business grow.

Person Specification

Personality – Energy, Drive, Enthusiasm.

Technical background in the Mechanical Fire industry.

Experience of front line customer service is essential.

Looking for Additional areas of sales opportunities.

Previous experience of maintaining fire extinguishers is essential.

Qualified to BAFE / FETA standard.

Ability to work unsupervised with the capability to problem solve. Full UK driving licence.
