Job Title: Marketing Executive

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Based: Salford Quays

Job Purpose Summary

The successful candidate will execute and provide input into the Division’s Marketing strategy, developing 6 market leading brands, while driving lead generation and customer acquisition through the promotion of the Division’s USP’s, key services and solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be confident to work on a number of campaigns simultaneously and possess a can do attitude.

The candidate will report into our Divisional Head of Marketing and work alongside our existing Marketing Executive forming part of the wider centralised, Bid, Marketing and Commercial Support Team.

The Division is a fast growing business where there are many opportunities to learn and further their career development.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Coordination and delivery of Internal and External communication strategy
  • Delivery of the Division’s digital, graphic / creative and social marketing strategy
  • Incoming lead logging and responding to customer requests
  • Campaign development and execution
  • Extensive market research to influence strategy
  • Enforcing and continuously developing brand guidelines, communication policies and procedures
  • Website management, update and optimisation
  • Management of Divisional social media strategy
  • Input on SEO and PPC campaigns
  • Generation and development of Divisional brand collateral
  • Execute Graphic Design and Brand Creatives
  • Lead corporate event management
  • Invoice coordination and budget control for marketing spend
  • Monitoring and creating marketing activity reports
  • Producing and writing focused award submissions
  • Creating engaging and successful email marketing

Person Specification

  • Experience delivering a successful external and internal marketing service
  • Proficient with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills (particularly written prose)
  • Experience of WordPress or similar website management tool
  • Experience designing and creating graphics and artwork for professional use
  • Understanding of social media marketing techniques
  • Energy, Drive and Enthusiasm
  • A good work ethic
  • Experience of managing multiple projects with time-critical deadlines
  • Ability to persuade, influence and challenge in a constructive manner and identify appropriate solutions
  • Understanding of commercial B2B sales process and marketing
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence to work with Senior Managers
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Degree Educated to a 2:1 or equivalent or above would be advantageous
  • Strong administration skills
