The Marlowe Fire & Security Passive Team has formally integrated with FAFS Fire & Security, effective from the 1st of April 2025.
Since 2016, we have operated in parallel with our sister company, FAFS Fire & Security as part of Marlowe Fire & Security Group, the fire life safety and security division of Marlowe plc.
Both companies have independently established themselves as fire life safety and security service providers of choice and both maintain considerable experience and expertise in the delivery of specialist Passive Fire Protection Services.
To establish a best in class, unified service provision in this area, it is our intention to bring them together under the FAFS Fire & Security trading entity.
By uniting the capabilities and resources of FAFS Fire & Security and Marlowe Fire & Security, we will create a new unified operating mechanism that best serves all our customers and team members.
Combining our business development and operational expertise and uniting them behind a single brand allows us to provide outstanding customer experience and a fully comprehensive service provision.
By driving closer working relationships with a much larger engineering team, we will be able to provide an enhanced service and offer a more extensive range of capabilities and services across the sectors in which we operate.
What will change and what will stay the same?
Our insurance cover and adherence to our agreed contractual obligations remain unaffected.
Our current passive fire protection certification including LPS 1197, LPS 1271, BM Trada, FDIS, BRE certification under Marlowe Fire & Security will cease as of the 1st of April 2025.
All future works will be carried out by FAFS Fire & Security under UKAS accredited certification schemes ‘IFC Certification’ and Bluesky Certification ensuring continued compliance and quality.
