2017 marks the 35th anniversary of the founding of Swift Fire & Security – the UK’s leading fire life safety and security service provider.
Established by Managing Director, Nigel Jackson, and the two other founders in 1982, our initial focus was the installation of intruder alarms around the Greater Manchester area. Between 1982 and 1998 our infrastructure developed, complimented by the achievement of our ISO 9001 NSI NACOSS Gold Accreditation.
In 1998, we expanded our range of products and services to include the complementary disciplines of CCTV and access control. A few years later, we further diversified our offering to include the installation and maintenance of electronic fire life safety solutions, achieving NSI Fire Gold Accreditation in 2005 and establishing ourselves as a fire life safety service provider of choice.
In 2015 we acquired the NSI ARC Gold, CAT II Alarm Receiving Centre, formally owned and operated by ROMEC. Re-christened Swift Connect, this state of the art facility provides our Customers with cutting edge, innovative solutions including, remote system maintenance, diagnostics and rectifications.
Today we maintain a national fleet of multi-disciplined, experienced and qualified fire and security Service Engineers, operating 24/7 throughout the UK.
Our growth and development is testament to our commitment to Compliance and Best Practice. As a triple ISO 9001 accredited service provider, achieving the requirements of NSI NACOSS Gold, NSI Fire Gold, and NSI ARC Gold, we provide our Customers with a World Class Service.
Our multi discipline approach, commitment to innovation and reputation has, over the past 35 years, laid the foundation for our current success as part of the Marlowe plc Group of Companies.
