This well established, compliance led, business will add scale and an attractive customer base, further enhancing Marlowe’s market position as one of the Top 4 largest fire protection service providers within the UK.
Founded in 1979, and operating from their established base in Norfolk, BBC Fire Protection functions nationally with c. 100 employees and 700+ customers. Their customer base includes blue chip names, including high street retailers and housing associations, maintaining long term partnerships of over 10 years for over 80% of their customers.
BBC Fire Protection maintain product expertise across; fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, gaseous fire suppression systems, portable fire extinguishers, voice alarm systems and fire telephone and refuge systems. The business is an approved agent of Notifier by Honeywell and is a Platinum Solution Partners for the Siemens Cerberus PRO Range of products.
In addition to their wide range of technical, quality and health and safety accreditations, BBC Fire Protection has maintained a Royal Warrant since 1986, providing a fire safety solution to Her Majesty the Queen. Since gaining the accreditation, BBC Fire Protection has installed fire life safety systems at Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace, Sandringham House, Balmoral Castle and the Palace of Holyrood House.
This prestige acquisition is highly complementary to the existing Marlowe Fire Protection division, strengthening the Group’s geographical coverage while generating other attractive operational synergies through the additional critical mass.
