Team Members take part in Manchester Half Marathon for Cancer Research UK

On Sunday 13th October, Team Members from across Marlowe Fire & Security took part in the Manchester Half Marathon and raised over £4,000 + £780 in Gift Aid in support of our chosen charity, Cancer Research UK.

Marlowe Fire & Security has always supported charities that are close to the hearts of its Team Members.

Unfortunately, at this moment in time, cancer affects us all. Thankfully with everyone’s support, Cancer Research UK (CRUK) is pioneering research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Team Members from across Marlowe Connect, Matthew Elliot House and remote Team Members (from both Engineering and Sales) all came together last Sunday to take part in this epic challenge!

Training diligently for months prior to the event, the Team did us proud; dealing with injuries, achieving personal bests and for many runners it was the first time they had ever ran the 21K distance!

Congratulations to Craig Horrell, Barry Cattrall, Matt Anderson, Jemma Bradbury, Daniel Marshall, Laura Trench, Bethany Jones, Robbie Birchall, Devon Williams, Jack Bostock and Dom Wharton for successfully completing this challenge.
